By now I'm sure everyone has heard the news. Begich defeated convicted felon, Ted Stevens!!! Yay! Because we helped out with the get out the vote stuff, we're going to a volunteers party tomorrow night to celebrate the spectacular win.
It's been really cold here lately--face-stingingly cold.

Be careful out in that cold. Might get frost bite. did you find the booties for banjo yet? Can't wait for you to come home. Wish it were for thanksgiving too. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I need a list from both of you.

I agree with your mom. I'm quite sad that you guys won't be coming home for Thanksgiving. You'd better be home for a good long while at Christmas. You're moving back next fall, right?
I'm so proud of you both for giving your all to the campaign. It does pay to get involved!! Now what are you going to do with all that extra time????
