This past Friday and Saturday I had a swim meet! On Friday Abe, Neil and the Hoffs came and watched me swim in a 400 medley relay (we are now state record holders for our age group), 100 IM and the 1,650 yard freestyle. Then today we headed back to the pool after Neil's last basketball game of the season. Today I swam 100 free, 50 backstroke, 500 free, and 50 breast. And, now I am TIRED! Abe did really well in the cheer section.
We all got these nifty caps for participating in the meet. Neil and Banjo tried it on too.

You are an amazing person, Emily Locke! Are you planning on taking Abe again, or are you afraid that he will surpass you?
That is a lot of swimming! What a great workout. i always thought it would be fun to do one of those 4 mile swimming races. i need to find one around here. Neil's beard looks 100000000xs better.
