Valentines Day Parts 1 and 2

Part 1
On Valentines Day Neil got up early to take Jared to the airport. He got to go to Hawaii. So, Abe and I got up to make a yummy breakfast for us to have when he got back. It was another gorgeous day our, so we took Banjo to the dog park. Apparently that was a Valentine's Day destination. There were sooo many dogs and owners there. Banjo had a great time, and was dead tired when we got home.

We were originally going to make a special dinner, but we didn't get around to going to the store, so instead we decided to go out for Chinese food to celebrate the year of the tiger. We went to the restaurant that we took Abe to with my parents when he was just 10 days old. Unfortunately it was closed for a "Chinese event" so we had to go to another place that we'd seen off the highway. It was pretty horrible, but we had fun anyways.

Abe helping make the pancakes with his whisk.
I tried to make the pancakes heart shaped.
Part 2
Today we made our Valentine's day feast that we didn't get to yesterday. We made scallops with risoto and asparagus. It was really tasty. I got the recipe in the cookbook BBC gave us for our wedding. For dessert we had dryer's tagalong ice cream. Who doesn't love girl scout cookies?

Yummy dinner.
The dood assumed his position under the table.
Who needs fancy toys to shove in your mouth when you have a good old fashioned spoon?

This morning Neil attempted to trim my bangs. I was NOT happy with the results. I asked him to trim them just above my eye brows and this is the results. His reply was that they were above one of my eyebrows. I wore a hat all day. At least hair grows back.

I have a feeling that Banjo is going to have a new spot at the table soon...right under Abe's high chair. Dying at the bangs. I can't believe you let him cut them!!

Neil does not have a career as a hairdresser to fall back on!

I think you would have done better cutting it yourself. Maybe a professional is in order.
