I am now officially a resident of the State of Alaska! I went to the DMV today right when it opened at 10. I took the driving test on a new-fangled touch screen computer (I took my first written test the old fashioned way - with paper and a pencil). Since I looked over the Alaska Driver's Manual on-line in the morning, I new about their point system for driving offenses, and was got 16 out of 16 questions right (compared to someone who had to take the test twice - but we won't mention her by name).
That other picture is what I look like with the gifts that Stuart gave me at my farewell party. I don't know which picture I look scarier in - my driver's license or my new mask.
